🧄 Crispy Garlic Potato Pops (Saturday Night Edition)

Hey snack seeker,
Let’s skip the small talk — because these little golden balls of joy? They’re the kind of snack that demands your full attention. Crispy on the outside, soft like a cloud inside, and absolutely drenched in garlic butter.
They’re dangerously moreish. Fast. Cheap. Air-fried. And taste like you ordered them from a fancy small-plates place that charges £8.50 for 6.
You’ll get a whole bowl. And no, you probably won’t want to share.
🧺 You’ll need:
2 large potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp onion granules
1 tsp paprika
4 tbsp cornflour (plus extra if needed)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Olive oil spray
For the garlic butter:
100g butter
2 tsp garlic granules
Handful of fresh parsley, chopped
👩🍳 How to make it:
Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, then drain and let them steam off for a minute.
In a bowl, mash them until smooth, then stir in garlic granules, onion granules, paprika, salt and pepper. Add cornflour and mix until a thick dough forms — add more flour if it’s still sticky.
Roll into bite-sized balls (somewhere between a nugget and a ping-pong ball — we trust you).
Pop them in your air fryer, spray generously with oil, and cook at 200°C for 15–20 mins. Give them a shake halfway — they like attention.
Meanwhile, melt your butter with the garlic granules and parsley in the microwave (30 secs at a time until gloriously liquid).
Toss the hot potato pops in a big bowl with your garlic butter. Let them soak it up like tiny, delicious sponges.
Serve immediately, with extra butter poured over, if you’re feeling extra. (You are.)
